On the final morning of the tour, the group will fly from Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) to Cairo (CAI). The 5:00 PM or later departure time allows sufficient time for this domestic flight and your international connection.

If you cannot find an international flight departing Cairo after 5:00 PM, please book your return flight for the following day and plan to stay one additional night in Cairo. The additional hotel night, transportation, and related expenses are not included in the tour package.

December is one of the most comfortable times to visit Egypt, with generally sunny, pleasant days and cool mornings and evenings. Because our journey covers several regions—from Cairo and the Nile Valley to the Red Sea and Sinai—temperatures can vary considerably.

• Cairo & Giza: Around 67–72°F (19–22°C) during the day and 48–54°F (9–12°C) at night.

• Luxor: Around 74–77°F (23–25°C) during the day, with cooler mornings and evenings around 46–50°F (8–10°C).

• Aswan: Around 75–79°F (24–26°C) during the day and approximately 50–55°F (10–13°C) at night.

• Red Sea: Generally around 72–77°F (22–25°C) during the day, with cooler and sometimes breezy evenings.

• Desert & Sinai Areas: Comfortable during the day, but early mornings and nights can become quite cold, especially around desert and mountain areas.

👕 Lightweight clothing – Comfortable shirts, breathable tops, and pants are ideal for daytime sightseeing.

🧥 Jacket or sweater – Very important for early mornings, evenings, the Nile cruise, desert areas, and Sinai. Layering is recommended.

👟 Comfortable walking shoes – Essential for the Pyramids, temples, archaeological sites, uneven stone surfaces, sand, and long sightseeing days.

🧢 Sun protection – Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Even in December, Egypt's sun can be strong.

🧣 Scarf or shawl – Useful for cooler mornings, protection from dust and sand, and visits to religious sites.

Early Mornings:
Several days may require early wake-up calls and departures, particularly for archaeological sites, excursions, flights, and activities scheduled to avoid crowds or make the best use of daylight.

Walking & Archaeological Sites:
Expect approximately 3–4 hours of walking and standing on many sightseeing days. Ancient temples, archaeological sites, pyramids, and historic areas may have uneven ground, sand, stone surfaces, steps, inclines, and areas without handrails.

Nile & Boat Excursions:
The program may include Nile cruises or smaller boat excursions. Travelers should be comfortable boarding and disembarking boats, which may involve steps or uneven access. Those prone to motion sickness or with mobility concerns should take this into consideration.

Transportation & Travel Days:
Some days may involve extended periods of travel by motorcoach, boat, or domestic flight. Depending on the itinerary, certain travel days can be long and may include early departures.

Weather & Temperature Changes:
December generally offers pleasant conditions for sightseeing, but temperatures can vary considerably. Days are usually mild to warm, while early mornings and evenings can be cool, particularly in Cairo and Upper Egypt. Layered clothing and a light jacket are recommended.

Desert Conditions:

Here you will discover the fascinating story of Isis, Osiris, and their son Horus. The temple even contains scenes depicting Isis with the young Horus.

As we explore the temple, we will continue uncovering the beliefs behind the gods and goddesses of Egypt and connect them with details from the Bible, including the account of Moses, Pharaoh, and the Ten Plagues. The Exodus Route | From Egypt to Mount Sinai 📖🏜️

Today, we leave Cairo early and begin one of the most meaningful journeys of our tour as we follow a route associated with the Biblical Exodus from Egypt toward the Sinai Peninsula.

Travel toward the Red Sea 🌊, recalling the dramatic account recorded in Exodus, when the Israelites found themselves trapped between Pharaoh’s pursuing army and the sea.

We will stop along the western shore of the Red Sea. Standing beside the Red Sea will give us a unique opportunity to visualize the setting and reflect on one of the most extraordinary events recorded in the Bible—the crossing of the Red Sea and the deliverance of the Israelites from Pharaoh’s army.

Imagine the scene: the Israelites leaving Egypt, Pharaoh changing his mind and pursuing them with his forces, the sea opening before them, and an entire nation crossing to safety. 📜

We will stop for lunch along the way before continuing through the dramatic landscapes of the Sinai Peninsula 🏜️ toward the region traditionally associated with Mount Sinai.

This morning, transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport ✈️ for our flight to Cairo International Airport (CAI). Upon arrival in Cairo, connect with your international flight home.

Please book your international departure from Cairo (CAI) after 5:00 PM to allow sufficient time for the morning flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo and your international connection.

If you are unable to find an international flight departing Cairo after 5:00 PM, you will need to book your international flight for the following day and stay one additional night in Cairo. The additional hotel night and related expenses are not included in the tour package.
